How to Use MigrationWiz

MigrationWiz is an online application created by BitTitan that facilitates the automation of migration from a source service to a range of supported destination services without requiring extensive technical skills. Supported services include:

  • Mailboxes (e.g. Gmail, Exchange, Office365)
  • Cloud Documents (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, SharePoint)
  • Public Folders (e.g. Exchange, Office365)
  • Archives (e.g. Google Vault, Office365), including large-scale enterprise archives
  • Collaboration Data (e.g. Google Sites, SharePoint)
  • Databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Azure SQL)

After creating an account, you will be able to manage users, create migration projects and access as few basic tools but to perform anything more than a Trial Migration (recreates first-level folder hierarchy at the destination only) a MigrationWiz subscription is required for each user being migrated.

This starter guide will focus on project creation, user management and migration for a mailbox migration project. These steps can be recreated for other project types since the MigrationWiz interface is consistent throughout the application.
